With such a vibrant entrepreneurship ecosystem all over Massachusetts, there are scores of great events, pitch competitions, grants and other opportunities nearly everyday. Check out what is going on this week:

Feb. 12

Boston New Technology Startup Showcase – See seven innovative and exciting local technology product demos presented by startup founders. Network with 150 attendees from the Boston-area startup/tech community. Get your free professional headshot photo from Kubica & Nguyen. Enjoy dinner with beer and other beverages and more. The event begins at 6 p.m. at Alley Cambridge.

Valley Venture Mentors Collegiate Accelerator – Applications are due Feb. 15. Get two months of intense training and lovingly critical support, as well as help from subject matter experts, investors and highly engaged and collaborative peers. Each team member receives stipend with other opportunities to win additional prize money. Free office space from June through August 2018.

MIT Clean Energy Prize – Clean energy startups have the chance to compete for $100,000. Applications due Feb. 15.

Feb. 13

Tax Reform Update – The Cambridge Innovation Center is hosting an event on the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which has broad implications on businesses. Learn what you should be doing immediately to prepare for the impending changes.

MassVentures START – START is a program funded by the state to assist Massachusetts companies that have received at least the equivalent of a Phase II Small Business Innovation Research or Small Business Technology Transfer grant to commercialize their technologies. The first information session is at 10 a.m. in Waltham at Morse, Barnes-Brown & Pendleton.

Boston Accelerators: Navigating Your Options – Figure out the best accelerator for your startup. At this panel, you will hear from different accelerators about their selection process and programming so that you can make the right choice for your startup. The session begins at 6 p.m. at Morgan Lewis.

Feb. 14

Introduction to Google Adwords – This workshop will walk you through what you need to know to get started with this highly powerful, highly technical, advertising platform. Students will learn keyword audience targeting, how to design effective ad copy and how to estimate you ad’s success. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. at General Assembly Boston.

Feb. 15

MassChallenge Info Session – Come learn more about the application and selection process for the largest accelerator on the planet. The event begins at 4 p.m. at Boston University’s BUild Lab IDG Capital Student Innovation Center.

Startup Nation Boston Pitch-A-Thon – Startups are given five minutes to pitch their idea in front of an audience. Once the time is up, feedback and Q&A will be given by judges and the audience. Pitches are rated based on pitch/deck and feasibility. The event begins at 7 p.m. at WeWork St. James Street.

2018 Hardware Cup Northeast Regionals – Watch as seven hardware startups pitch to local VC firms and investors. Winner gets $3,000, a free one year SOLIDWORKS license and other prizes, as well as a chance to win the $50,000 grand prize investment at the international finals in April. The event begins at 6 p.m. at Draper in Cambridge.

Mass Innovation Night – The event features 10 products and startups that participants  vote on to see which is their favorite. The event begins at 6 p.m. at Umass Lowell’s Innovation Hub.

Feb. 16

The Future of Money – Learn from experts across FinTech to discuss how a new generation of startups and established enterprises are improving financial services, cutting costs and transforming the business world. Speakers include Susan Pandy from the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, Pillar VC Founder and Managing Director Jaime Goldstein and Commonwealth Crypto CEO Sharon Goldberg. The event starts at 8:30 a.m. at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business.

CSS Training – The American Graphics Institute is offering two-day, CSS focused workshop that teaches you to how to take advantage of cascading style sheets by separating structure from content in your HTML documents. The event begins at 9:30 a.m. at the AGI office in Woburn.
