The 10th Annual Women’s Leadership Forum – The Women’s Leadership Forum is dedicated to recognizing and honoring inspirational individuals for their leadership qualities and accomplishments. This year, they’ll be shining a spotlight on the accomplished women of Boston who are making an impact throughout the Commonwealth, across the nation and around the globe. The event begins at 11 a.m. at the Seaport World Trade Center.

Fuckup Nights Boston – Hundreds of people attend each event to hear three to four entrepreneurs share their failures. Each speaker is given 7-10 minutes and is able to use 10 images to illustrate their story. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. at ImpactHub Boston.

Droidcon Boston 2018 – This is a global developer conference series and networking event focused on the best of Android. The idea behind Droidcon is to support the Android platform and create a strong network for developers and companies. The event begins at 9 a.m. at the Calderwood Pavilion.

Navigating Equity and Inclusion in a New World of the Same Ol’ Boys Club – This is an evening of provocative dialogue led by inclusion and diversity expert practitioners, They’ll pose and discuss the landscape of gender diversity in relation to inclusion, access, challenges and opportunities across our workplaces of today. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. at Broad Institute.

Winter Accelerator Celebration – At this event give feedback to Accelerator Entrepreneurs during the entrepreneur showcase, see which Accelerator Finalists won the cash prizes, network with business, government, nonprofit and community leaders, hear from keynote speaker, Deirdre Sartorelli, Director of Entrepreneurship Center for Endicott College. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. at Lynn Arts.

Data Visualization Masterclass – The masterclass will teach you principles and practices for turning data into insightful visualizations that tell compelling stories. The class is for anyone working with data, including communicators, scientists, programmers, designers, and visual artists. The event begins at 9 a.m. at Kimpton Marlowe Hotel.

Blockchain, Bitcoin, and Public Policy – In this event, attendees will hear from public policy leaders how they are assessing the regulations to bring in effect the future of decentralized cryptocurrency. They will also hear from the venture capitalists and academics who are investing and researching, respectively, in this immutable technology, therein creating new generations of protocols and infrastructure. M2D2 $200K Challenge Finalist Pitch-Off & Awards Ceremony – Twenty finalists, selected from a pool of over 100 applicants, will present their medical device and biotech innovations to a live audience and panel of expert judges. In addition to the live pitch-off there will be poster sessions, food & drink, and great networking opportunities. The event begins at 5 p.m. at M2D2@UMass.

Microsoft Excel Workshop – This one-day training class will show how to utilize this powerful spreadsheet application. You will be able to plan and create an organized spreadsheet, use absolute and relative cell references, understand the importance of labels and values, create pivot tables, and export your data into a range of file formats. You will also efficiently produce your own spreadsheet for data management and analysis.
